Split PDF — separate pages into new PDFs

Cut a big PDF into smaller files: by page ranges, into single pages, or into equal parts of N pages.

Drop a PDF here or click to chooseOne PDF file · it never leaves your device

Tip: “8-” means page 8 to the end. Separate ranges with commas.

🔒 Your files stay on your device — nothing is uploaded to any server.

How to use the Split PDF

  1. Choose the PDF you want to split.
  2. Pick a split mode and type the page ranges if needed (e.g. 1-3, 5, 7-9).
  3. Click “Split PDF” and download each file or the ZIP.

About this tool

Scanned a whole file of documents into one PDF but the form wants each certificate separately? Type the page ranges you need — for example 1-2, 3, 4-6 — and each range becomes its own PDF. You can also break a PDF into single pages, or into equal parts such as every 10 pages for upload limits.

Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable and file size stays small. When you get several files you can download them one by one or all together in a single ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

How do I split a PDF into single pages?

Choose “Every page as its own PDF”. You get one file per page, with a ZIP option so you don’t have to click each one.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied without re-compression, so they look exactly like the original.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Open it with the password in a PDF reader, save an unlocked copy, and split that.

Is there a page limit?

No fixed limit. Very large PDFs (hundreds of MB) depend on your device’s memory.
