About this tool
Online application forms for bank, government and university exams usually reject an upload unless it matches both an exact pixel size and a file-size range — for example a photo of 200 × 230 pixels between 20 KB and 50 KB, and a signature of 140 × 60 pixels between 10 KB and 20 KB (the IBPS and SBI requirements in recent notifications). This tool does both together and tells you whether the result is inside the range.
For a signature, sign with a black pen on plain white paper, take a well-lit photo and crop it here so the signature fills the box. If an image is too simple to reach the minimum size even at top quality, harmless padding data is added inside the JPG file — the picture itself does not change. Choose “Custom size” for any other exam, and always double-check the latest notification.
Frequently asked questions
What is the photo and signature size for IBPS and SBI exams?
Recent IBPS and SBI notifications ask for a photo of 200 × 230 px (20–50 KB), a signature of 140 × 60 px (10–20 KB), a left thumb impression of 240 × 240 px (20–50 KB) and a handwritten declaration of 800 × 400 px (50–100 KB). Check the notification for your exam, as rules can change.
Can I use this for SSC, UPSC, NEET or state exams?
Yes — choose “Custom size” and enter the width, height and KB range given in that exam’s notification.
Why does the tool add padding to small files?
Some forms reject files below a minimum size. When a simple image is smaller even at maximum quality, the JPG is padded with an empty comment section to reach the minimum. The picture is unchanged and opens normally everywhere.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser.
